- Amy Gour-Williams is my name and I am twenty- four years of age (24). I am a privileged mother of a three (3) year old boy, Malachi Demetri Williams. Malachi is the biggest inspiration in my life and one of the reasons I decided to pursue a career in teaching. The other reason is to make a significant different toward the integration of social solidarity and educational achievement in the society of Trinidad and Tobago. I believe that teachers have the power to contribute to the mental stability and cultural upbringing of a child, hence it is my hopeful duty to impart and instill the correct values and teaching on to every child with whom I teach to ensure a productive and crime free Trinidad and Tobago. Education is the way out of Poverty and Crime.
